Films and presentations
for research recruitment
and dissemination
VLM productions is an award-winning production service specialising in research dissemination and study recruitment.
Design deliverables include films and presentations, plus supporting assets such as digital flyers, animated gifs, web posters, and enhanced study report layouts where unified styling across deliverables is desirable.
VLM productions offer a bespoke script-to-screen service. Our mantra is ‘substance with style’. Our approach mirrors the rigorous process of academic peer-reviewed content. We follow a structured and innovative approach that harnesses creativity to maximise impact and outcomes, with techniques that can prize open the door to reach time-poor, sceptical, and/or disinterested audiences.
THE TEAM
The team incudes associates who work in the film and music industry at large; bringing fresh high-end creative and technical expertise to academic dissemination.
We typically work though client-side in-house producers; individuals with film experience who are already working with the film’s commissioners on the project in question.
We have refined this single point-of-contact approach to maximise efficiency for both commissioners and suppliers. Benefits include reduced costs, tighter budget and resource management, crisper communications, and improved content consensus.
REFERRALS
Our marketing is based almost entirely on word of mouth recommendations. Our clients include leading international research and academic institutions, but we do not publish a client list, nor do we openly post individual project deliverables, especially as many are designed for specific audiences only.
SCHEDULES
We limit our workflow commitments to ensure that every project gets the full attention it warrants. Thus planning a project’s dissemination needs in advance, and blocking (pencilling) diary slots is recommended, although it is still sometimes possible to take on rush projects, just ask.
